On the sacrifice to reconcile the Temple

Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the first [month,] in the first [day] of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish, and cleanse the sanctuary:

And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering, and put [it] upon the posts of the house, and upon the four corners of the settle of the altar, and upon the posts of the gate of the inner court.

And so thou shalt do the seventh [day] of the month for every one that erreth, and for [him that is] simple: so shall ye reconcile the house.

I think the KJV translation and the Russian synodal translation of verse 20 are wrong. It is not talking about the 1st and 7th day of the 1st month, but about the 1st day of the 1st month and the 1st day of the 7th month. The preemptive anointing of the doorposts of the Temple gates with blood should forestall possible attempts by some Jews to sacrifice the Passover lambs on Passover, and the slaughter of cocks and hens before Yom Kippur. According to Ezekiel, there will be no such sacrifices in the Third Temple.

Everyone else says the temple will be built on temple mount, but by the looks of your presentation it seems the temple will be built elsewhere. Can you explain to me why you have the temple being built in another location?

Yes, sure. First, Ezekiel 40:2 says three times that it is not in Jerusalem. (1) There is no high mountain in Jerusalem (2) The former Temples were not on the southern slope. (3) Ezekiel did not recognize the place shown to him.

But most importantly, the location of the Temple is determined with an accuracy of several meters when measuring parcels of land, in accordance with the description in Ezekiel.
