I was told the version that in the photograph, at the foot of the hill where the ruins of Abraham's altar are located, one can see the camp of the Rehovites, the descendants of Moses' father-in-law. Obviously, they are charged with guarding this place.

I think that the three ramps at the altar of the Third Temple, which we got in the interpretation of the prophecy of Ezekiel, correspond to the three ways to salvation. The central, straight ramp on the east side is the path of the righteous, regardless of their religion. Two other ramps, which are straight at first, then deviate in the opposite direction from the Sanctuary, and at the end they turn and go up to the top of the altar in the same way, from the east side — this is Judaism and the Christian religion. The Third Temple will first gather the righteous, and then will amend the path of all Jews and all Christians.

It has been noticed that the workers work with the more zeal, the more they want to drink. When you read Ezekiel, there is an irresistible desire to accelerate movement towards the one described in the last verse.

Ariel - this is what Ezekiel calls the upper part of the altar. The construction of the ariel is based on the description from the 27th chapter of Exodus, taking into account the dimensions given in the prophecy of Ezekiel.

Two thousand six hundred years of torment will now be able to end safely: we understood a few lines that seemed quite clear to us.

First, the kohanim should not walk on the top of the altar. Therefore, around the altar itself, "ariel", there must be a platform that is 3 cubits below the upper surface where the fire burns, as shown in Exodus 27. According to Ezekiel, the height of the upper part of the altar, the height of "ariel", is 4 cubits. There is no way to reach the front edge of the altar, where a constant fire was burning, if you stand on the ramp. Walking on a narrow, 1 cubit wide, ledge at a height of more than three meters is a risky exercise. Now this is no longer required.

The platform referred to in Ezekiel 43:17 is 1 cubit thick, and it sits on the ledge on which "ariel" stands, who is 4 cubits high. Therefore, relative to this platform, which is 14 cubits wide to each side of the "ariel", the height of the upper surface of the "ariel" is 3 cubits. In the same place, Ezekiel indicates that the steps are located on the eastern side of this platform, on which the kohanim ascend. Since this platform is 8 cubits high, we cannot build a staircase with an integer number of steps. All rungs of stairs in the Third Temple are 144 mm high, this is determined by the prophecy of Ezekiel. With the help of these steps, we can create stairs in multiples of 1½ cubits. Ezekiel describes an altar with the heights of its protrusions at 1, 3, 7 and 8 cubits. The height of the landings for us would not coincide with this set of heights.

Therefore, the altar must have ramps. Stairs and ramps are the same Hebrew word. This word means ascent without indicating the way in which it is carried out. Ezekiel uses this word in the plural, not in the dual. This means that there should be at least three of these ramps.

The minimum requirement for ramps is a slope of no more than 1:5. To climb to a height of 8 cubits, we need a ramp 40 cubits long. If the ramp starts from the edge of the 100-cubit square in front of the House of the Sanctuary, then we are forced to move the altar towards the Temple by 10 cubits. Ezekiel does not mention anywhere that the altar should be in the center of this square, on the contrary, he says that the altar is located in front of the Temple (40:47). So, we move the altar towards the Temple by 10 cubits and connect the north and south gates with the same ramp. To do this, we divide the straight ramp into 4 equal parts and bend 3 parts by 90 °.

The resulting shape of the three ramps at the altar, when viewed from above, surprisingly resembles a lily symbol.

Altar of the Third Temple.

The altar is 10 cubits above the base, that is, it is the same height as in the Temple of Solomon. We'll make it out of bronze. The upper part of the altar, "ariel", is hollow. The lower part is finished in bronze and can be filled with soil inside. The platform on which the kohanim walk is made of stones, because it says about the "border", in one case half a cubit, and in the other case, one third of a cubit. Ezekiel does not say about this size, it is up, or to the side. But if this border is a metal corner used to strengthen the masonry, then this size is both in height and in width at the same time. Therefore, we consider this a sign that stones are being used there. The base of the altar is made of stones, and the platform on which the kohanim work is also made of stones. Of course, the ramps will also be made of stones. For strength and beauty, these ramps will be sheathed in bronze on the outside.

Ezekiel does not write about the railing around the platform where the kohanim work, but the fence must be required, the height there is 3 meters 84 cm.

I think that the solution we have received is not only successful, but also correct. That is, exactly what we were going to for so long ...

The order of burial of the remains of a ram and what can happen with this after 4 thousand years ...

I have some experience in burying the bodies of dead goats. After slaughtering the animal, we usually burned in the fire those parts of the carcass that were not used: skin, intestines, hooves. But if the goat was dying, then the carcass had to be buried.

The burial pit should be deep enough, I think that a depth of 1 meter would be enough. If I were in the place of Abraham, I would first get rid of the knife: I would break it and throw the debris to the bottom. The skin of the animal is convenient to use as a bag for intestines and other unused parts of the carcass. This
package is thrown to the bottom of the pit after the fragments of the knife.

After this, large stones should be thrown into the pit, almost to the very top. There it is necessary to pour soil, the amount of which for some reason always turns out to be significantly less than the volume of the dug hole. To the very top you need to knock over a large stone, very heavy.

What happens to this burial for 4 thousand years?

The surface of the hill undergoes erosion, the hill becomes lower. A stone lying on top protects the burial from erosion, and gradually, in addition to the upper stone, lower, smaller stones also appear on the surface. This structure is unstable, and with the erosion of the hill, at some point everything crumbles: a large stone falls to the ground, and smaller stones lie near it. Smaller stones are more creeping: they drift year after year along the hillside and the larger stone is closer to the starting place than they are.

Therefore, the fragments of a bronze knife and the remains of a ram should be slightly higher up the slope, relative to the large stone that once lay on top of the burial.

Approximately the same picture should be observed in relation to the ruins of the altar. In the original place of the altar, there must be some elevation of the soil surface, formed during the period when the altar was still intact and its stones protected the soil below them from erosion. When the altar collapsed due to a significant elevation above the hill, the crumbling stones began to drift down the slope, forming a characteristic placer in the direction of the slope.

Apparently, this is what we observe in the only image available to us of this place:

Ruins of the altar,

Update. At that place, in addition to three fragments of a bronze knife of the Middle Bronze Age, and in addition to ram bones about 4050 years old, an earthen vessel containing accessories for lighting a fire and stones used by Abraham to make fire can be buried.

Maybe someone prefers to see the blueprints, not the 3D model.

Altar of Ezekiel's Temple. Drawing.
The fact that the total dimensions of the altar and the total dimensions of the area around the altar turned out to be a multiple of the size of the measuring reed – this is an additional confirmation of the correctness of our constructions.

The metal corner along the perimeter of the base of the altar and around the perimeter of the area around the altar can be made of titanium.

I already wrote in this blog that the altar should not have stairs with steps, in English (and not only English) translations of the Bible an obvious mistake. In the Masoretic text a word is used, which can be translated as "climb" without specifying the method of climb.  Or we should translate this word as a "ramp", because it is an inclined path without steps. There should be no steps, so that the priest could not stumble, accidentally stepping on the edge of his clothes.

At the very top of the ramp there is a small threshold, it is made less than the minimum size of a step for stairs. This threshold is made so that the border between the ramp and the altar itself can be seen. The upper platform of the altar has the highest level of holiness, so there must be a visible border.

Dimensions are given in cubits, 1 cubit is 480 mm.

Dimensions of the altar of the Third Temple in accordance with the prophecy of Ezekiel.

When we build all the dimensions indicated in the prophecy in the right way, we get that the total dimensions of the altar and the platform are multiples of the size of the reed (1 reed is 6 cubits).

After combining the model with the terrane, I noticed a dark spot about 45 meters east of the altar. I think that this is a scattering of stones, left from the ancient altar of Abraham, in the place of Jehovah Jireh. Then the Temple model needs to be moved slightly to the east, so that the new altar is in place of the former altar.

Ancient altar of Abraham.

Since I can not be sure that this dark spot on satellite photography is the ruins of an ancient altar, I will not yet move the Temple model 48 meters to the east and 18 meters to the north. Although it seems that it would be more convenient if the northern wall is built a little to the north than it is now: there is a stream and the wall runs right in the center of its channel.

If it turns out that the dark spot on the satellite image is really the ruins of the ancient altar, then we should look for fragments of the bronze knife of Abraham concerning these ruins. The burial of the remains of the sacrificial ram should be where there will be a passage 20 cubits wide (Ezekiel 42:3), which is along the western wall of the temple complex, about 120 meters to the west and a few meters to the south of the center of the ruins of the altar.
