Not long ago, news agencies reported that on the day of the 9th Av, several hundred Jews had ascended to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. These people, apparently, would like to see the Temple rebuilt there. And on the same days, the same news agencies reported that several thousand people took part in the homosexual parade in Jerusalem.

So, a few hundred - and a few thousand. But it's not about the ratio of the number of participants in these two events.

He measured the gate from the roof of the one guardroom to the roof of the other, a width of twenty-five cubits from one door to the door opposite. (Ezekiel 40:13)

You see, from this verse it follows that the security rooms, attached to the gate building, have individual roofs. Why do they need separate roofs, if the roof above the hall with the gate is fully capable of covering the small  guardrooms from above?

Ezekiel's Temple: guardrooms.

I remember, we had such a case:

But a man named Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property,

and kept back some of the price for himself, with his wife's full knowledge, and bringing a portion of it, he laid it at the apostles' feet.

But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the price of the land?

"While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God."

And as he heard these words, Ananias fell down and breathed his last; and great fear came over all who heard of it.

The young men got up and covered him up, and after carrying him out, they buried him.

Now there elapsed an interval of about three hours, and his wife came in, not knowing what had happened.

And Peter responded to her, "Tell me whether you sold the land for such and such a price?" And she said, "Yes, that was the price."

Then Peter said to her, "Why is it that you have agreed together to put the Spirit of the Lord to the test? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out as well."

And immediately she fell at his feet and breathed her last, and the young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband.

(Acts 5:1-10)

We must remember well what the relation of the Law of Moses to the dead body is:

He that toucheth the dead, even any man's dead body, shall be unclean seven days; (Numbers 19:11)

This is the law: when a man dieth in a tent, every one that cometh into the tent, and every thing that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days. (Numbers 19:14)

So I thought that with such a ratio of the number of participants in the events mentioned at the very beginning of the post, taking into account the attitude of the Lord God to some categories of unrepentant sinners, if the guardrooms of the Third Temple do not have separate roofs, the Temple will almost always be closed, due to lack of ritually pure guards.

In any case, reading the book of the prophet Isaiah inclines me to this version:

And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before Me, saith the LORD.

And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have rebelled against Me; for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

(Isaiah 66:23,24)
