"The ledge shall be fourteen cubits long by fourteen wide in its four sides, the border around it shall be half a cubit and its base shall be a cubit round about; and its steps shall face the east." (Ezekiel 43:17)

and his stairs - Strong #4609

1) what comes up, thoughts
2) step, stair
2a) step, stair
2b) steps (of sundial)
2c) stories (of heaven)
2d) ascent
2e) song of ascent
2e1) to the three great pilgrim feasts (Psalm titles)

I'm sure that we need to add one more meaning to the word "וּמַעֲלֹתֵהוּ" – "ramps".

The ramps at the altar of the Temple should in no case be turned to the south, as was done in the previous Temples.

Because the true Sacrifice sanctifying the Third Temple in accordance with the prophecy of Ezekiel will be the saints of all nations. Representatives of the first-born churches symbolized in the Revelation of John as 144 thousand of the tribes of Israel, and these people are named in the prophecy of Ezekiel as "the glory of the Lord." Saints must enter the Temple through the Eastern Gate, so the ramps of the altar should be facing east.

And it is strictly forbidden to attach stairs with steps, because it prohibits the Law of Moses.

The corrected translation of this verse of Ezekiel's prophecy must be as follows:

"The ledge shall be fourteen cubits long by fourteen wide in its four sides, the border around it shall be half a cubit and its base shall be a cubit round about; and its ramps shall face the east." (Ezekiel 43:17)

Altar of the Third Temple: "and its ramps shall face the east".
