13 Heavenly Trees and Their Fruits

(Ezekiel 47:12)
Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb,
in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
(Revelation 22:1,2)
Since there are 13 months in the Jewish calendar, we can guess that there are 13 different kinds of trees in Paradise. And we will find out the names of these trees absolutely exactly, on the basis of the Holy Scripture.
The first tree we see in Bereshit (Genesis) is the fig tree.
Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loin coverings.
(Bereshit/Genesis 3:7)
That is, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is a fig tree.
You must understand that the name Adam is translated as "Man," that is, Adam is simply the image of every person. Likewise, the name Eve is not the woman's name and this is not the image of every woman, but it is the image of the environment of people, our social environment.
Translating the biblical parable into a modern language, each person began to behave in the same way that the people around him behaved. Man began to distinguish between good and evil, while he became smarter, and his mind, his cunning began to be used for mercenary purposes, wishing to benefit from the deception of other people. And everyone began to live like this. And yes! All people were now dressed in garments of fig leaves – self-justification before God: "everyone does that".
The biblical story of the fig tree does not end there. You yourself can read a parable about which tree became the king over this world – Shophtim/Judges 9:8-15 .
I want to draw your attention to the strange story that happened with Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ destroyed one tree.
On the next day, when they had left Bethany, He became hungry.
Seeing at a distance a fig tree in leaf, He went to see if perhaps He would find anything on it; and when He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.
He said to it, "May no one ever eat fruit from you again!" And His disciples were listening.
...
As they were passing by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots up.
Being reminded, Peter said to Him, " Rabbi, look, the fig tree which You cursed has withered."
(Mark 11: 12-14, 20,21)
First, why did Jesus do such a strange thing? He cured people, but cursed the tree?
Secondly, we can develop this plot further by going beyond what is written in the New Testament.
This happened shortly before the execution of Jesus. In the vicinity of Jerusalem, not so many trees grew, Roman soldiers were also forbidden to cut down trees in the vicinity of cities. And suddenly someone saw a withered fig tree. The Roman soldiers immediately felled this tree ... and made of this fig tree a cross on which Jesus was crucified.
What kind of fruit should have ripened on the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? Righteousness.
Jesus Christ did not find this fruit in Judea. And then He Himself was hanged instead of this fruit on a felled fig tree. Because He is the Righteous.
So, the long story line of the Bible, which we studied, confirmed to us the correctness of our original hypothesis that the tree of knowledge of good and evil is a fig tree, and the fruit of this tree is a fig that is the image of Righteousness.
Now I want to say that in the New Testament, in the Epistles, 12 or 13 fruits of the Spirit are listed.
(for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth),
(Ephesians 5:9)
having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
(Philippians 1:11)
All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.
(Hebrews 12:11 – NASB)
Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
(Hebrews 12:11 – KJV)
But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.
(Romans 6:22 – NASB)
But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
(Romans 6:22 – KJV)
(I do not like these new translations, they always try to clarify something more clearly and at the same time they just confuse everyone.)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
(Galatians 5: 22,23)
So, we find the most complete list of the fruits of the Spirit in the Epistle to the Galatians, and we will begin with it:
love
joy
peace
patience
kindness
goodness
faithfulness
gentleness
self-control
sanctification
righteousness
truth
To this list of the fruits of the Spirit, it is necessary to add one more fruit, which in the New Testament is mentioned as if in passing.
But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy.
(James 3:17)
wisdom
So, here is the complete list of the thirteen fruits of the Spirit listed in the New Testament:
1. love
2. joy
3. peace
4. patience
5. kindness
6. goodness
7. faithfulness
8. gentleness
9. self-control
10. sanctification
11. righteousness
12. truth
13. wisdom
Now it remains for us to find the correspondence of each of these spiritual qualities with the concrete fruit of particular species of earthly trees, and these trees must necessarily be mentioned in the Holy Scripture. In fact, it's not that hard.
I will not describe the whole line of reasoning, I simply list the references to the verses of the Bible, which allow us to identify a particular tree with the fruits of the Spirit listed in the New Testament.
Note that the taste of the earthly fruits corresponds to the evaluation of our respective spiritual fruits by God. Holiness (dates) is the sweetest fruit for God. And for us, the opposite is true: the sweetest fruit for God, holiness, does not leave even a pleasant smell to those around you. When a person devotes himself to God, then the surrounding people from him already get nothing. But the etrog is sour (remember the hero of the movie Ushpizin). Our desire to look good before everyone – for God it's quite sour in the mouth. And our kindness to others – for God it's just a pleasant smell.
Now we have an exact correspondence between the earthly image of Ezekiel's prophecy about the paradise future of Israel, and the spiritual images of the Revelation of John and the whole New Testament, which draw the same picture. At the very beginning, I brought out passages from the Holy Scripture that speak of the mutual correspondence of 13 heavenly trees and 13 months in the Jewish calendar. Can someone now be able to explain to us, what month corresponds to each of the fruits?
1 | Love | Galatians 5: 22 | Apple tree | " Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest, So is my beloved among the young men. In his shade I took great delight and sat down, And his fruit was sweet to my taste. "He has brought me to his banquet hall, And his banner over me is love. "Sustain me with raisin cakes, Refresh me with apples, Because I am lovesick. (Song of Solomon 2:3-5) " Who is this coming up from the wilderness Leaning on her beloved?"
