For some time I was trying to understand whether there should be a room for meetings of the Sanhedrin among the offices of the Third Temple. And I came to the conclusion that in the Third Temple there is no place for the Sanhedrin.

First, among the buildings of the temple complex, described in the prophecy of Ezekiel, there is no such building. Actually, this alone is enough to not try to place a human trial in the earthly residence of the Lord God.

But we can find other arguments against placing in the holy place of the human structure. According to the status of the members of the Sanhedrin, all the members of the Sanhedrin, except for the Kohanim and some of the Levites, should not have access to the inner court, except for the place near the gate where their sacrifices are offered. Therefore, the service buildings located on the inner courtyard of the Temple are unfit for accommodating the hall for the Sanhedrin in them.

The buildings in the outer courtyard serve for the refectory, except for 2 buildings located near the wall of the courtyard and intended for dressing the Levites in working clothe for work related to the slaughtering of sacrificial animals and for cooking. I do not exclude that for the Levites there must be 4 locker rooms, not 2 (then only 2 refectory will remain at the disposal of the Levites), but in any case the Sanhedrin's location next to the refectory rooms seems completely inappropriate.

In the prophecy of Ezekiel there is only one verse that indicates the participation of the Kohanim in the court:

And in a controversy they shall stand to judge; according to Mine ordinances shall they judge it; and they shall keep My laws and My statutes in all My appointed seasons, and they shall hallow My sabbaths.

(Ezekiel 44:24)

The courts, in which the cohens will be present, may well be located elsewhere in Israel.

Therefore, we can rest assured that if we come to the Father's house we will not feel there as if we are in the corridors of the judicial building, but we will celebrate the coming of the Messiah, being in the sacred restaurant of the Lord God of Israel.

And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it, because the place is too far from thee, which the LORD thy God shall choose to set His name there, when the LORD thy God shall bless thee;

then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thy hand, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose.

And thou shalt bestow the money for whatsoever thy soul desireth, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul asketh of thee; and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou and thy household.

(Deuteronomy 14:24-26)

What can be the place for a dull court session in the yard where the wedding feast is?
