As it turned out, the difference between the right and the left side is not understood not only by the Ninevites.
Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.
Then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me about the way without unto the utter gate by the way that looketh eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters on the right side.

It would seem that there to understand?
But the guys tried and made a new translation.
Then he brought me back to the door of the house; and behold, water was flowing from under the threshold of the house toward the east, for the house faced east. And the water was flowing down from under, from the right side of the house, from south of the altar.
He brought me out by way of the north gate and led me around on the outside to the outer gate by way of the gate that faces east. And behold, water was trickling from the south side.

In the original Hebrew it is written: "on the right side." On the right side of the House, on the right side of the East Gate. But - on the south side of the altar.

The building is not a man: the right side of the building is the side that is to the right when we look at this building.
